In order to solve the many problems that dust have created for the residents and infrastructure facilities of Khuzestan province during recent years, the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad has urgency dust fixation in foci South and south east Ahvaz County in a range of approximately 112000 hectares of land with the following objectives.
Distribution of water in the land and stabilization of surface soils by the adhesion of clay particles in the soil and thus preventing them from moving by wind
Water supply for cultivation of pasture plants and non-fruitful trees and creating air deflector to prevent the movement of soil particles by wind.
-Transferring water to the surgical river for watering irrigation through Dust Water Transfer
Water supply and transport project to the south and South East Dust Center Ahwaz consists of two basic parts
Construction of water transfer channel with 20 m3/s capacity and 60 km length with dependent structures
Construction of water distribution canals in order to carry out water and humidifying and water supply operations for forestry and plant operation in dust center lands
